About this Job: Navy EOD Technicians identify, render safe, recover and dispose of various weapons and munitions, such as land and sea mines, torpedoes, depth charges and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). They are trained to handle chemical, biological and even nuclear weapons. Their efforts are critical in protecting both servicemembers and civilians.

Key Opportunities: Navy EOD Technicians accept missions all throughout the world, in every environment. Training involves 51 weeks of instruction that’s challenging both physically and mentally. • Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Gender: Male or female
• Age: 17 to 30
• Medical exam: Required
• Eyesight: 20/200 bilateral correctable to 20/25 with no color blindness
• Physical screening test: Required
• Minimum Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score: AR+VE=109, MC=51 or GS+MC+EI=165
• Service commitment: Minimum of two years of Active Duty
